MASSENA PHYSICIANS


Dr. Neil Cichetti was born in Baltimore, MD and was raised as the youngest of four children in Marriottsville, MD. He graduated college from Penn State earning a B.S. in Pre-med. He then went to University of Maryland Medical School, graduating in 2000. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine in 2003 at Boston University. It was there that he met and married his wife, Dr. Joanne Cichetti, who helped initiate, and continues to propel this partnership to the place where it is today.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine and maintains memberships in the AMA and American College of Physicians. He has been living in Massena with his family since July 2003.

Dr. Joanne Cichetti was born in Ogdensburg, NY and was the youngest of three girls. She grew up in Raymondville and graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School as valedictorian. She then completed her B.S. in Biology from St. Lawrence University. She went on to medical school at Boston University, graduating in 2000. She then stayed there to complete her internship and residency, finishing in 2003.

She is board certified in Internal Medicine, and President of the North Country Physicians Organization. She maintains memberships in the AMA, Massachusetts Medical Society, and American College of Physicians. She has been living in Massena with her family since July 2003.

Laura Goldhar, PA-C is originally from Toronto, Ontario, however she has been living in the North Country for the past 6 years while earning her degrees. She received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Clarkson University, and completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Neuroscience at St. Lawrence University.

In her own words, Laura states: “During PA school, we were do five-week clinical rotations in a wide range of fields. It was after completing my rotation with Drs. Neil and Joanne Cichetti and seeing the extreme care and compassion they gave to patients and their hardworking nature, I knew this is where I wanted to practice medicine and care for my community. I am very excited and honored to be a member of team at North Country Adult Medicine.”





We refer patients to both Massena Memorial Hospital and Canton-Potsdam Hospital, and have a close working relationship with many physicians at other outside hospitals.
